Autoresponders These are simple text files you place in your domain in a folder called infobots. When email is sent to your domain with the name of one of these files, the file is automatically returned to the sender of the email. |

Domain Name/Registration In order for visitors to find your web site using the domain name of your choice we need to reserve your domain name with the InterNIC. We provide free registration and transfers when you open a hosting account with us. The InterNIC charges $70.00 for the first two years registration which is billed separately by them. Neither the InterNIC or SpringWeb charge for transfers. |

Email Accounts
(POP3) These are your email boxes on our server that can be accessed directly to retrieve your mail using such programs as Outlook Express and Netscape Mail. Each POP3 has it's own password to ensure privacy. |

Email Aliases Your main POP account for your domain allows the system to capture any name that may be sent to your domain name. This means as long as the @yourdomain.com is proper, any name in front of it will be delivered to your main POP account. Each alias can be forwarded or redirected to any other address of your choice. |

You will be able to specify upto 500 email addresses in a
simple text file and have them each redirected to a location
of your choice. For example webmaster@yourname.com can forward to you@yahoo.com. |

Lists Allows you to provide your customers an email address that they can send to and be added to your personalized mailing list. The system is capable of multiple lists. The lists can be up to 1000 names and you can email a message up to 75k to the lists you create. |

FrontPage98 and 2000 Extensions This is Microsofts simple editor, it requires you own the frontpage 98 and frontpage 2000 software and have it installed on your home system also. Though front page does not completly disable regular cgi access, there will be a few scripts that will not work properly while this is in use. It's designed for non-programmers and includes many of it's own scripts including counters, search engines, etc. You should either plan to use CGI based applications or FrontPage. FrontPage does not provide the ability to edit or maintain files in your home directory and does not upload in true ascii. |

As example if you had a footer you wanted on all your pages that may change from time to time, you can create a text file with the desired footer and place it in your domain. On each page you put a simple include to read that file and place it at the bottom of the desired pages. |
